Manzanillo - snorkel report

We hadn't been to Manzanillo for a few months and went yesterday. Still a little wavy, so the water wasn't real clear - more like looking through fizzy soda water. But, floated through schools of cocinero and baby jurel, saw a group of about 10-15 rays (which looked like ghosts through the water). So, wildlife sightings were cool. But the effects of mar del fundo were obvious - big chunks (boulder-sized) of coral were upended and tossed onto places that normally were sand. Nature does enough damage without the human input. On shore, there is still orange plastic stretchy construction fencing, but no work being done.
