Nothing to report on the Covid-19 front.

The waterfront near the pier area and the pier itself were quite busy last night with fishermen and their families. Lots of foreigners are here, I guess mostly for the torneo. Good to see them, though I wish the torneo were 100% catch & release like we used to have when Stan Lushinsky was the organizer. No one did more to put Zihuatanejo on the international sport fishing map than my friend Stan. One of Zihuatanejo's unsung heroes.

Today seemed a tad warmer than yesterday. The mar de fondo was still kicking up this morning, but is predicted to end this Saturday.

The power went out in much of Zihuatanejo for a couple of hours during our siesta today. No word why that I'm aware of, but it came back on and went back off several times, just like the good ol' days.

It's looking like the this year is going to be busy for us. Thanks to the pandemia keeping folks away from their vacation destinations for so long, it seems like there's a backlash with more folks than ever taking vacations and making reservations for the upcoming fall/winter/spring season.
