The entire state of Guerrero reports only 14 currently active cases of Covid-19, none in Zihuatanejo or anywhere else along the Costa Grande.

Though Día de las Madres on May 10th comes with some tears for those of us whose mothers have passed away as well as for mothers who have lost the children they would normally celebrate with, it's still a family day for us in Mexico, and we show our appreciation for mothers and reinforce our family bonds. Lupita, Valeria and I wish all of you a happy heartwarming day full of love and appreciation for your mothers and each other.

Our weather remains perfect, but the humidity and heat continue creeping upwards ever so slightly. As was mentioned earlier, we got some sprinkles along our coast, and it looks like conditions are setting up for more precipitation within a few days. Enjoy swimming now before the rains start, because the water is rarely this clean and clear once they do.
