So far during the month of May there have been NO active cases of Covid-19 reported in Zihuatanejo. There are only 13 currently active cases in Guerrero, 6 of them in Acapulco, none along the Costa Grande.

In the next few days if you're in Zihuatanejo you'll likely see a strange vehicle that looks like a mock-up of the Titanic driving around. Don't ask.

The bay was calm as glass this morning. No sign of any mar de fondo.

The weather continues changing as temps and humidity rise ever so slightly, at least that's what it feels like. I haven't paid close attention to the weather reports, but I know the nights and mornings aren't quite as cool as they were in previous days, sleeping under a sheet is optional again, hot water is no longer necessary, and we've been turning the fan up an extra notch during siesta time.

Now's a wonderful time for outdoor adventures and sightseeing. Charter a boat, take a guided tour, go snorkeling or diving, go kayaking, surfing or paddle-boarding, take a cruise to Isla Ixtapa, explore the coast with one of my recommended services.
