Something to do on a hot Saturday night

¡Saludos, Amigas y Amigos! In keeping with the theme of "What-to-do-when-in-Zihuatanejo," allow me to offer a suggestion. Just last Saturday night, at the Mercadito Zanka, there was an awesome salsa/cumbia band. Some of the locals were motivated to get up and dance. In the recent past, a few participants here expressed concerns about Covid at this market. It is open air and last Saturday, there were plenty of tables with opportunities for social distancing. There are numerous food choices. The only downside seemed to be that smoking is tolerated inside the food court. Yucch.

Funny you mentioned the smoking bit. I was going to comment about that in your vegan comment. But I thought better not to trash an establishment that I used to like. I used to really like going there until one night the cig smoke drove me away. And what'a worse is that they sell cigs right at the entrance. Someone seems to think it's cool. I know the proprietors used to smoke ...don't know if they still do.

Oh, and by the way, I got drugged there about 2 months ago. Can't say Mercadito Zanka had anything to do with it.
But they could have acted more 'compassionately' in my attempt to reconstruct the Incident.
