And it was interesting to watch the wood go away. It appeared that there was about a 5 day delay, maybe for permits or bidding? Then, in came a crew that took several days to slab and take their time doing the cuts on the tree. As much as we miss the tree, it was nice to see that it wasn't just hacked down and hauled off.
