TelCel SIM card

My understanding of the restriction doesn't have anything to do with the SIM card, it has to do with the capability of the phone. US cell providers are (have already) stopping supporting 3G networks to allow more band width for 4G, 5G and future enhancements. It's your phone that needs at least 4G connectivity to work in the US.
