Mexico continues doing very well against the Covid-19 virus. There are only 3,312 confirmed active cases in the entire country, only 36 in the state of Guerrero, and only 1 along the entire coast of the Costa Grande in Petatlán. None in Zihuatanejo.

Guerrero is the penultimate state in Mexico whose Congreso del Estado ratified the recognition of marriages between people of the same sex today. Better late than never. Too long in coming but FINALLY! The law no longer defines a marriage as between a man and a woman but rather as between two persons. As it always should've been. This is cause for celebration! Tamaulipas is the last holdout. They'll have to pass the same law sooner or later.
