Guerrero's health officials confirm 14 currently active cases of Covid-19 in Zihuatanejo, 2 in Atoyac, 1 in Coyuca de Benítez, 214 in Acapulco, and 281 in the entire state. The sixth wave seems to be steadily growing.

Millions of minnows have been schooling in Zihuatanejo Bay these past few days. Hopefully that's a good sign. The sea birds are certainly eating well.

The full moon has made for extremely low tides which has made it quite difficult for tourists to embark and disembark from the water taxis at the Muelle Municipal and the pier at Playa Linda. Too bad city authorities ignored suggestions for floating landing platforms.
