Prescription drugs?

This conversation begs the question, "What about gummy candies and other sweets that could contain recreational pharmaceuticals?" Could someone be harassed for carrying a bag full of gummy bears since they could be vehicles for high levels of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana?

I’m at an airport right now. I just watched as security people swabbed a traveller’s carry on luggage, “personal item”, the plastic bag that contained her liquids, etc. and tested everything right there. I’m pretty sure the swab test could easily pick up high levels of THC.

When I travel, I keep everything sealed in the original packaging. If I open it to eat something, I either eat it all or dispose of it.

My Hawkins Cheezies are safe in their sealed bags until I get to ZIH tomorrow.
