VPN help
We want to watch our granddaughters play softball in February and March on the ESPN Plus network which is listed as not available in Mexico. Some research shows that it should be available through Express VPN or others. We haven’t used a VPN here before, so any ideas or suggestions in if this might work would be appreciated. Thanks!
A competent VPN should do the trick. Your computer will appear to be located in the United States or whatever country you choose. However, there are a few websites that seem to be able to detect that you are using a VPN and may block you. We use NordVPN and they have thousands of servers located around the world. But somehow, a least of few websites have blocked us from using their service while the VPN was active. Luckily, this has been easy to counter with these few websites. All you do is pause the VPN service for five minutes, go to the website and start browsing, and then allow the VPN to resume, and it seems to work fine. (I am guessing it is just some automatic script their home page uses to detect VPNs but then once you get past the home page, you are clear.)
Good Luck!
