Covid vaccine question

My wife and I had all of the shots and we both still got Covid. Fortunately, very mild. It amazes me how many people I encounter who don't believe in vaccinations. Bad enough when adults don't get them and end up sick, but I recently met a woman with a twelve-year-old daughter, and both are unvaccinated. I can't imagine what she would feel like if she lost her daughter to something that was preventable.
