Health officials for Guerrero confirm 2 currently active cases of Covid-19 in Zihuatanejo, 1 in Petatlán, 61 in Acapulco, and 144 in the entire state. Hardly worth reporting on anymore.

The Guitarfest officially started up tonight, but once again the city stupidly thought using the pier for an event and making all the folks using the pier for its intended purpose have to use the urine-stenched walkway behind the office of the Capitanía was a good idea. Well, no, it still isn't a good idea, and whoever from the ayuntamiento keeps planning events there without leaving a corridor for the people using the pier for its intended purpose is ruining Zihuatanejo for hundreds of visitors who will return home with the foul stench of urine and the images of a decrepit walkway as part of their memory of Zihuatanejo. EPIC FAIL!

Got a bit warm today before the breeze picked up. The breeze felt GOOD! And it was cool watching all the kites flying from Playa Principal. A shame the event wasn't better promoted. It was a lot of fun to watch, but it seemed like no one knew about it beforehand.
