The Guitar fest started off years ago on Playa Madera with such great promise! It offered a wide variety of styles and musicians from an eclectic mix of countries. The location was magical too! Sadly it has gone downhill from there. IMHO

Did you attend any of the concerts?

I had a Platinum Pass in exchange for bringing audio-visual equipment which was used for live transmission of some of the events as well as a future documentary on ZIGF.
Consequently I attended many of the shows.
I am a pretty severe music critic and musician.
As a critic much can be taken apart.
But in general I think it was a pretty spectacular experience for most of the attendees and musicians and volunteers and even the overworked organizers will probably have a big smile on their faces after they get some sleep.
