keeping sailboat in zihua- question for sailors

hello

im not a sailor, but I have become the owner of a catalina 36. Lets not discuss current condition.

I do go to zihua off and on during the season. before xmas and after- the dry season - not the rainy season.

is there wind to sail during the season, where it would be good conditions to use a sailboat down there.

I did keep a 26 foot power boat down there for a few years so that was fine but it was power.

any comments tips suggestions appreciated. we would then have a sailboat to use with you guys when im down there.
