What is the Calentona fishing tournament???

Another kill tournament for the poor slobs who couldn't afford the Torneo de Pez Vela a couple of weeks ago. I believe there is some betting that goes on, too.

Do you know who the main sponsor[s] are???

Looks like the fishing co-op "Triángulo del Sol". Though I'm sure the goobers will be there looking for photo ops and votes.

Surprised you've never heard of this annual event.

I have never been in the area from May to mid-July. So some of these obscure small events are new to me.
