New TelMex Modem??

Got a whatsapp from TelMex today, the first time they have ever communicated that way, so we are wondering.

States that they want to replace our current modem with a new, better one at no charge. All we have to do is call and make an appointment.

Sounds OK, but not necessarily quite right.

Anyone else been contacted like this?

Thinking further on this, I have iPhone and they use iMessage to communicate with me. When they replaced my modem, each time I got a message AND an e-mail. I don't know about other phones that aren't iPhones, so again, check with the local office first. Tel. (755) 553-2307, *2222 or 800-123-2222.
