Except for the sismo that caused a bit of a scare among folks in the region, Wednesday was another absolutely picture-postcard perfect day in Zihuatanejo and the Costa Grande of Guerrero. Maybe a bit warm, but nothing a cool refreshment in the shade couldn't handle.

We're expecting another mar de fondo event beginning Wednesday night or Thursday and lasting for the next 5 days or so with waves expected to reach almost 3 meters high along the open ocean coast. Might be good for surfers, but for beachgoers from inland not accustomed to the ocean the waves and currents can be deadly. One reason I always recommend to never swim alone.

:lastquartermoon: Hope everyone enjoys the Blue Moon this Wednesday evening. Raise a glass and give thanks for being able to enjoy such beauty.

[image]Nestled in a quiet section of the beach at Playa Blanca is a lovely little vacation lodging called El Manantial. A small family-run inn with two one-bedroom bungalows and two houses, one with three bedrooms and the other with six. Perfect for honeymooners. Each bedroom has air-conditioning, and there is wi-fi internet, a pool and an outdoor lounge area.
