Did anyone feel the tremor today around 2PM? A 4.4 with the epicenter just off the coast of Lázaro Cárdenas. Just strong enough to be felt here.

Got a bit on the warm side today with not a raindrop in sight, so far. Looked like it might rain this afternoon, but it blew itself out before reaching us.

Another day with hardly a tourist in sight. Hardly even any traffic during the afternoon downtown. While the peace and quiet is nice, the lack of sales is hurting a lot of businesses. You'll see many businesses simply close temporarily during this time of year. It makes no sense to waste what little money folks have saved up paying bills for public services when there aren't enough customers to justify it. The Paseo del Pescador is a lot quieter than usual except for the games and entertainment at the Cancha Municipal.

Don't forget that Thursday is Pozole Day. Enjoy one of Guerrero's favorite traditional dishes with all the fixings.

Find plenty of peace and quiet in a tropical hillside setting at Casa Arcoiris, located on a small hill overlooking the treetops of La Ropa's huerta where majestic parota trees adorn the view that extends all the way to the bay.
