According to Guerrero's state health officials as of 3 days ago there were 17 active cases of Covid-19 in Zihuatanejo, 1 in Petatlán, 10 in Acapulco, and 95 in the entire state.

We saw a small group of foreigners Wednesday night walking along the Paseo del Pescador. But still very few visitors are here, and local businesses are having a rough go of it. All we can do is hope for some weekend warriors until things start to pick up again in November.

A shame we have this absolutely perfect weather without hardly anyone here to enjoy it. All these lovely beaches going to waste.
