Still no rain in our immediate forecast. Nevertheless, today was a rather pleasant tropical day with some nice breezes coming in off the ocean. There's supposed to be a mar de fondo effect, but it seems rather insignificant and hardly noticeable.

This Sunday evening at the waterfront Domingo Cultural event enjoy the "Festival de Tribus Urbanos" starting around 6p.m. where there will be a collection of non-perishables to donate to Coyuca and Acapulco. Come have fun and help our brothers and sisters in the disaster zone that Huracán Otis left behind.

The water at the main beaches in Zihuatanejo has been pronounced officially safe to swim in by municipal and federal authorities. At least on the day which the measurements were taken.
