Appreciate the info. They do actually arrange tours with captains they have trained and optionally include a naturalist guide from their organization. I was able to submit an inquiry on their website and have been emailing with them about options.

I also inquired with Zihuatanejo Ixtapa Charters, but by the looks of their boats, they may be out of our price range. I'll contact Ramon too.

Yes, in other words they contact the tour operators instead of you. One more middleman. And I believe there are more certified tour providers than those that Whales of Guerrero have listed on their page.

Ramon's boat can hold 7 people, but it won't offer privacy for the ladies when they need to use the head.
