This is great news for us residents at the south end of la ropa! We will hopefully also get beautiful lighting to aid in our vigilance against crime and help create a safer environment after dark!

Really? Lighting never stopped any thieves at La Ropa or anywhere else around here that I'm aware of, makes it even easier for them. Most robberies occur in broad daylight here. When I lived at La Ropa I appreciated the DARKNESS at night so I could enjoy the Milky Way and the constellations and the beauty of the NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. Not cement or bright lights. We didn't even have electricity most days when I first lived at La Ropa. So I guess next you'll want another Oxxo built closer to you? Maybe a bowling alley and a McDonalds?

Even the folks at El Viejo Capricho del Rey don't want the road paved or a walkway.
