Cost of electricity here?

Hola,

We are living in a rented apartment in centro and have agreed to pay for the power we use, I don't think there is a history of excessive consumption.
According to the meter, we consume an average of 10 kw per day and will be here for 2 months.
What can I expect?

10KW per day, your power bill would be cheap. Very hard to consume less than that.

We try hard to not be conspicuous consumers of anything, back home in Canada our house is tight as a drum. I would love to do some solar but its just not even close to viable in the shadow of the mountain.

Here in our Apartment, the water is solar heated but I can't bring myself to waste a whole showers worth of precious water to get the hot water flowing.
Cool showers are nice too!!

I guess you could capture the cold/cool water and use it to water your garden or even in the cold water rinse cycle in your washing machine.
Just a thought...
