Though most of our long-weekend vacationers probably couldn't tell you that today was Día de la Constitución Mexicana, they sure knew it was a day off to enjoy. While this Monday there weren't quite the crowds we saw on Sunday, it was still a busy day with high hotel occupancy rates and lines of visitors waiting early in the morning for the water taxis to start running back and forth to Playa Las Gatas and Isla Ixtapa.
The weather didn't disappoint. There was barely a cloud to be seen all day, and the day started with a balmy mostly southerly breeze that kept up for much of the day. More of the same is expected for Tuesday with high temps quite comfortable around 32°C, and overnight lows around 20°C, slightly chilly but not uncomfortable for locals. The water seems to have warmed slightly from the past few days and made its way back up to a comfortable 28.2°C. Aren't we lucky?
Located at the southern end of La Ropa Beach on the hillside about 100 meters from the beach, Armadillo 201 is a 2-bedroom luxury vacation rental condominium that offers a panoramic view of Zihuatanejo Bay from its roomy private balcony and terraces. The condo has air conditioning and comes with a private garage, and there is a pool with a sundeck on the property.
