Great float day but Willy Chilly

Thanks, I'll have to say that if I did have such knowledge, I would try not apply it toward her from a high brow point of view and likely pretend I did not know the facts while asking for more stories. But it is interesting to learn that it has happened before. All I know is whatever that black manatee-sized body was there underwater that swallowed that diving duck, and at only an arm's reach away, I'm glad he had duck on the brain and not this hombre focused in!

Interacting with locals is all I do nowadays. True I come to Zihua like a snowbird but since I live in Mexico I just do it because it's warm and a better way to spend my time than feeding the black holes of the stone buildings of the central highlands, something that will suck in and swallow as much propane as one can burn at them. Leaving the US forever this past year with no reason to return was a great break from the politics, and my record now with Canadians is outside of having met two very well-traveled and highly educated ones who also focus on Mexican people and culture instead of pickle-ball and tody-parties was very refreshing this trip. (The most interesting thing about Canadian snowbirds from a general sense is how they do school like fish avoiding the locals everywhere they go. As far as those from the USA, I've only seen a couple this trip and they were are friendly to me as to everyone else they shun, so I at least didn't feel slighted in receiving what anyone would expect. I know that I've given up inviting old friends from the USA. The ones who do still travel think this is a little too far down the class scale for them and prefer Cancun and vicinity. I've also given up trying to explain how everything that glitters is not gold.)

So as I speculated many years ago, the locals are the gold that's still found in the hills (and on the beaches here). Yet still, soaked in Gringoitus, I can't help but ask for a fennel seed or rye bread recipe here and there LOL. Cheers my Zihua amigos! And thanks for the history lesson not clearly available elsewhere.
