NEW version, Shorefishes of the Eastern Pacific, Zihua fish

I am blown away with shock and pride to share the inclusion of 137 of my Zihuatanejo fish photos in the much expanded NEW online fish identification guide from the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute,

A Guide to the Shorefishes of the Tropical Eastern Pacific.

I am even more shocked and proud to be acknowledged as what THEY have deemed as a, Major Citizen Scientist Contributor.

For many years I have been equally proud to send photos to Mexican Fish dot com and those photos drew the attention of other researchers and photographers.

There are some rarely photographed species of fish in Zihuatanejo Bay and some that I have only seen once in twenty four years.

The majority of these fish are very small and require very close searching to find them.

The gallery of photos serves as a Zihuatanejo gallery and I hope to one day have some kind of larger collection of just Zihuatanejo fish.

The photos are posted under the name Ron Woheau, A Facebook screen name. A simple Google image search of just the name will return a page of fish photos that will link back to Mexican Fish and back to Rob's page from old postings.

Rob has always been truly supportive including many Juanrojo Youtube videos on the activity page and I truly thank him for all the help.

Not only are they excellent images, but I consider your photos and videos extremely important for locals to see so they become more aware of the incredible variety and abundance of sea life we somehow still manage to have in our abused bay. Every local I've shown them to has been amazed and surprised. Thank you!
