Barra de Potosi history - Anabella hotel

I had some out of town guests here over last weekend and the husband of the pair used to work at that hotel 10 years ago as a waiter and told me of many of the people who visited there and the client list was quite large and impressive. I was hoping someone wrote a book or something, sort of like Owen's from the tip of Zijua. My friend from Central Mexico also said that the area was pitiful today with the level of trash that has been allowed to collect there since even 10 years ago.

It's so very interesting to have met some of the people around here, including getting to meet Owen Lee on his last year with us in this life. Owen also spent hours with me explaining more than I could ever remember and he seemed surprised I was not aware of his book. Oddly I found it later sold used on Amazon, no less. He had explained he would give me one but all his copies had been "borrowed". It's hard not to get a little melancholy listening to all the lives of the aged and passing that are so, so very rich and then watching as every aspect of their existence seems to vanish with each passing day. I wonder how many lives and stories like this are swept away with the dust without an ear ever opening to listen. Someone once told me that this was my curse and why a lot more people enjoy being around me face to face than online. They tell me I'm the only one left who still listens and is interested in anyone else other than myself. And while I doubt that, I do seem to enjoy a lot more "living novels" than most people I know.
