Re-introduced visa requirements for Mexicans entering Canada

Visa requirements went into effect this evening, re-introduced, reportedly, at least partly in response to requests from the Quebec and the U.S. governments. Quebec has complained of a sizeable increase in requests from Mexicans for asylum, while the States says an increasing number of Mexicans are entering the USA across the Quebec and other Canadian border crossings.

Mexico, in response, says they "reserve the right to respond accordingly."
