¡FELIZ DÍA DE LA MUJER!

All around Zihuatanejo women could be seen celebrating their day. A large group of them including the first lady stopped by Plaza del Artista on bicycles and cheered and danced, and my wife Lupita of course got to strut her stuff, too, showing all the young girls how it's done.

Friday morning wasn't quite as cool as the previous morning, though a nice cool breeze is blowing in from the ocean out of the west, bringing a few clouds. One picture-postcard-perfect day blends into another and another on the Costa Grande of Guerrero, and its residents are among the most fortunate people in the world for being able to enjoy it along with our delicious fresh seafood and tropical fruits.

This Saturday evening there will be a GuitarFest event at the municipal pier.

And it looks like the Reina del Carnaval will be decided this Sunday evening at the Cancha Municipal. Gonna be a big whoop-tee-doo! Expect NOISE!

A purrfectly peaceful vacation lodging, Casa Kitty features 2 two-story structures.
