Remember, we do NOT change our clocks ahead an hour in most of Mexico this Saturday night. Only some border areas. So if, like me, you watch some U.S. TV programs, they will be on an hour earlier until the USA goes back on Standard Time.

Apparently someone in the municipal government thought it was just fine and peachy to send out a worker with a noisy leaf blower machine to clean the sand off the Paseo del Pescador at 5:30 this morning. To hell with all the residents and hotel guests. Education in government is a terrible thing not to have!

It was cloudy Saturday morning, and though the sun came out, the clouds hung around keeping the temperatures mild. There was also a nice breeze most of the day. Another picture-postcard-perfect day.

Our visitantes extranjeros were out in force this Saturday evening along the downtown waterfront. Most were at the GuitarFest event at the pier, but others could be seen at the various restaurants and plazas enjoying themselves as their vacations wind down. More Message Board readers stopped Lupita and me to say hello this evening, and I sure enjoyed meeting them. I'm always surprised at just how many of you there are!

Surf's been up lately, and if there's anyplace around to catch a wave it's in front of the Inn at Manzanillo Bay, one of the region's nicest and best located lodgings, even if you aren't a surfer.
