Fireworks

Victorio started this thread asking why fireworks should have been used right next to an animal shelter. Seems like a valid concern, considering. Then you came along with your "I LOVE fireworks" post, apparently showing your complete disregard for animal welfare in general. I thought it was intentionally provocative and juvenile, and you deserve all the criticism you're getting.

Animals? Like dogs? Like my last pet?
Who loved every blast, be it from a shotgun, pistol, rifle, or fireworks. Guess so many are ASSuming.

The picture is becoming clearer. To the list of your missing genes we can add the genes to encode empathy. Your dog loved loud noises so who cares if anyone else's animals are distressed by the fireworks? Those animals and their owners are simply weak losers. You are strong and a winner.

I think Dave may be having a little sport with us. And whatever his faults, they really seem minor in the grand scheme of things.
