Quite a large gathering came for the danzón musical event in Plaza del Artista this evening. Lots of people dancing while others watch, sway to the rhythms and smile. This is what Zihuatanejo's all about.

More visitors showed up for this weekend. Lots of people from the inland towns and cities were enjoying the downtown beach today as well as the other beaches in Zihuatanejo Bay. So good to see visitors, especially during the slowest season of the year.

What an absolutely picture-postcard-perfect day! Refreshing breezes greeted us this Friday morning, continued throughout the day and into the evening. The dry season isn't giving up its ground easily. The waves aren't as big as they were earlier in the week, and the water temp continues between 25°C and 26°C, though our visitors don't seem too bothered at all by the water temp that still feels too cold for locals to enjoy swimming. No rain in the forecast yet.

If you enjoy spectacular views and balmy breezes, you'll LOVE La Casa Roja on Cerro El Almacén with two comfortable suites. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms with a king-size and twin beds, full kitchen, private bath, and 2 terraces. The lower level also has 2 bedrooms with a king-size and twin beds, full kitchen, 2 baths, and a terrace. A peaceful place within easy walking distance of downtown and nearby restaurants.
