I always thought Rosario Green would reach a high political position in Mexico. A quick google search indicates she passed away in 2017.
Does anyone remember her? There was some scandal where the DEA made some arrests (or a whole task force?) down in Mexico without Mexico giving the green light for it, and she was pissed.
Musta been around 1998 when I (to the best of my political naivete) discussed the issue in NYC with Olga Rodriguez at a cocktail party--she had recently lost to Giuliani as mayor, running in the Socialist Workers' Party. Seems like yesterday.
