Another day hotter than the previous one, and the temperatures at night aren't falling into the low 20s anymore. No cool evenings or refreshing mornings. Next comes the increase in humidity, which is still relatively low for this time of year. Still no rain in the forecast. The weather is still beautiful, but folks need to take care and remember to hydrate and avoid the midday sun so as not to suffer ill effects from the heat.

The big swells have diminished though there are still some big waves around. The water temp is around 27.4°C in Zihuatanejo's bay. Saw a few people swimming and enjoying themselves in the calmer waters.

Hardly any tourists around. Locals are tightening their belts trying to survive these tough times. It's also a time when we typically see an increase in the incidence crimes and the boldness of criminals, so stay aware of your surroundings.

There's a big beautiful full moon out. Enjoy it but try not to turn into a werewolf or go crazy. :lunatic:

Encontré una Sirena Dorada durante mi paseo al amanecer con mi perro frente al museo, anteriormente el Palacio Federal donde solía trabajar su papá.
