We got lucky and the storm off our coast sped away instead of slowing down in front of us. The mar de fondo wasn't worsened because the storm produced no noticeable waves in front of us. All we got were some scenic skies and a few scattered sprinkles. We have the BEST weather in the world!

The past couple of nights have been wonderful sleeping weather. Monday night was so cool my wife used a light blanket on top of our sheets. Of course, it also means timing showers for when the sun warms the water in our tinacos for many of us. Did I mention we have the best weather in the world?

Our hearts are with our brothers and sisters in the Caribbean who have been and who are getting battered by Huracán Beryl. It's heartbreaking to see what's happened where Beryl has passed. Cancún is getting ready for its turn. Lots of boat owners have moved their vessels into the mangroves from their marinas to protect them. Smart thinking!
