In Anchorage our well was 276 ft deep. Here in Hamilton MT our well is 40 ft deep. The water table is 5 ft below the surface. When they dug the trenches for the footing for our house, they filled with water, so no worries about running out anytime soon. We're at 3700 ft elevation.
