A quadruple win for Spain today! Wimbledon. LIV Golf Andalucia. EuroCup 2024. Sail GP Championship San Francisco. It's really been a good sports day for them. ¡Híjole!

What an absolutely picture-postcard-perfect day! A bit warm especially around all the cement, but vacationers are getting their money's worth. No rain last night, and a beautiful sunrise. No real rain is expected until mid-week.

The number of visitors should begin to pick up this coming week, though we've also had a lot of visitors celebrating graduations here. Let's hope they spend some money and help support the local community.

I only saw one set of sea turtle tracks on Playa Principal this past week, and they didn't go very high up on the beach, again, apparently disoriented by the bright lights that line our downtown beach. Since the day the municipal government first put them up, I've been bringing it to the attention of local Ecología officials. Apparently they couldn't care less. Bummer for the turtles and any hatchlings.
