Onda Tropical #11 came and went, and as far as I know it only rained locally in Coacoyul, but not a drop in Zihuatanejo. ¡Tamos sala'o! It appears there's no real rain in our local forecast until MAYBE next Monday. Hang in there, sports fans!

It's good to see summer vacationers showing up, though so far they seem not to be doing much for local businesses. Keeping fingers crossed! This is only the first week. There were a lot of tourists at the fishermen's market on Playa Principal this morning, but they mostly just seemed to be milling about. I didn't see any of them actually buy any fish.
