Message Board readers! One of own needs your help.

For those of you who are long-time users of the message board, you would be familiar with our dear friend Doña Laura — articulate, kind, helpful, caring.

She had to be emergency airlifted to UCLA Medical Center with life-threatening heart and pulmonary issues.

Laura had no emergency evacuation insurance or funds. Her sister loaned her the money, but could ill-afford that herself.

That's where all of us who have benefited from Laura' generosity and kindness over the years come in. A pop-up GO FUND ME page has been created to pay for all these huge hospital and transport expenses.

NO DONATION TOO SMALL!

I will be helping to edit the page to give you all a better idea of who Laura is, but if any of you have photos or stories to share, please let me know!
