Storms paraded off our coast during much of Friday night and the wee hours of Saturday morning. Their lightning marking their passing. We got a nice little dousing of rain, but it ended way too soon. Saturday was quite pleasant most of the day. A nice little breeze and passing clouds kept the temps comfortable. In the late afternoon and early evening we had more passing thunderstorms that went BOOM, and it finally rained again in Zihuatanejo Bay for an hour or so. The rain wasn't too heavy, but the bay received quite a bit of runoff, and I wouldn't go swimming tomorrow.

A few visitors came to Zihuatanejo this Saturday. The ones who went to Las Gatas and Isla Ixtapa likely got rained on if they stayed late in the day. But the visitors we saw all looked relaxed and happy. That's the way we like'em!

Looks like we'll get more rain for much of the coming week. As long as it doesn't get too windy or rain too hard for too long. Keep an eye on our local weather!
