Notary Service

10/22/2024

Would someone know the name & number of a serivce here in Z,
with a person qualified to notarize my signature on a Document in ENGLISH?

The only reply that would be useful for me would be
a name & number for a local service (IF it exists),
or possibly a LINK to a Website that does the service.

Gracias in advance.

I'm not clear on what you're seeking. You have a document in English that you want notarized by a MEXICAN notary for use here in Mexico? First you would need to have an official translation made. I don't believe a Mexican notary can notarize documents in other languages without an official translation.

FIRST, YOU need to read exactly what the signature page says about the signature.
And NO, where I went, they did NOT need an "official translation.".
That said, another Notary, DID require it.
The document was NOT for "use here in Mexico" either.
I signed the signature page, it was notarized,
and returned it, along with the document,
to the Attorney handling the case in Santa Moncia CA
The thing here is, that they are NOT notarizing the DOCUMENT per se.
This was a VERY BASIC task:
What was needed, and was done, was simply to notarize my SIGNATURE,
that I signed the paper. I believe the Notario called it a "RATIFICACIÓN DE FIRMA"

Here's what the signature page reads at the top,
it's self-explanatory:

" ACKNOWLEDGEMENT "
A notary public or other officer completing this certificate verifies only the
identity of the individual who signed the document to which this certficate is
attached, and not the truthfulness, accuracy, or validity of that document"

Thanks for the clarification. I misunderstood, and I stand corrected.
