Here's what the signature page reads at the top,
it's self-explanatory:

" ACKNOWLEDGEMENT "
A notary public or other officer completing this certificate verifies only the
identity of the individual who signed the document to which this certficate is
attached, and not the truthfulness, accuracy, or validity of that document"

"No biggie", the legal mumbo jumbo does tend to get confusing,
& difficult to understand, even if it is a relatively basic issue,
as this case was, and even moreso when mixing 2 different countries.
