He is already on the 5 member board of the FCC. He was reappointed by Biden. His term runs until 2028.

.....but originally a Trump appointee to the FCC in 2017. Any Trump appointee who wasn't fired or who didn't quit during that first administration has to be viewed with suspicion. Either Joe wasn't aware of Carr's involvement in Project 2025.....or he just had a senior's moment.

Since it’s a 5 year term which expires in 2028, it means he was appointed in 2023. Project 2025 published in April of 2023, so it could be it wasn’t public at the time of reappointment.
