I agree with Robert Reich's column today, that Special Counsel Jack Smith has made a very bad decision to effectively drop all charges against the scumbag. Much more transparently slimy for US voters to have witnessed Trump directing his Attorney-General to drop all charges against himself.

Actually Jack Smith requested the charges be dropped "without prejudice", meaning they can be refiled in the future. Trump’s lawyers agreed to the terms. Clever of Smith. Negligent of Trump’s lawyers.
