The mercado in Plaza del Artista last night was an extremely popular event. The sellers were from up and down the Costa Grande, and people turned out from all over Zihuatanejo to buy their wares once the word got out.

I believe several roads in Zihuatanejo are going to close beginning at 5:00 A.M. in the morning for the big run tomorrow. The road to La Ropa from town and several of the main downtown roads will be closed, so if you have somewhere to go, take the backroad. If you live along the route, move your car tonight so that you don't get stuck in the morning.

It seems like most of the extranjeros visiting us so far are from Canada. Merchants say that it doesn't seem like many of their customers are from the USA so far this year. I wonder if this trend will hold for the rest of the season?

A favorite location for many visitors, Amor del Sol located overlooking Playa La Madera is an extremely comfortable and nicely appointed condominium that offers from 1 to 3 bedrooms (only pay for what you need!). The complex has a pool, but the ocean at La Madera is often calm enough for easy swimming.
