The hits keep coming. We awoke to a beautiful painted sky on a refreshing Sunday morning. By 8 o'clock the sun was burning through the last of the morning mist, and it was bright and hot with a hint of a breeze. But our temps remain mild, and we think we have the best weather in all of Mexico. Lucky us.

A current local joke is that the local Oxxo stores benefitted more than any other local business from our Christmas vacation visitors. It's almost not even a joke.

Many local merchants enjoyed a good deal of sales during the Christmas holidays after a very slow and late start, but they had to work extremely hard just to barely come out ahead. It makes us all appreciate much more the foreigners from Canada and the USA who tend to spend considerably more per capita on purchases than our national visitors. ¡Gracias!
