RSV Vaccination

It would be a very good idea to be immunized. I’m surprised that the cost up,there is more than we paid. It’s quite unusual.

Unusual, but not unique. In most, if not all provinces, the cost of Shingrix, the shingles vaccine, is also not covered. Those shots (one and a booster) run around $250 each, Canadian. Those of us with a private medical plan can usually claim 80% of that. Governments will likely wait until the hospitals are crammed-to-overflowing with RSV and shingles patients before they figure that it's cost-effective to vaccinate everyone who wants it.
