First of all, I want to sincerely thank the "anonymous" reader for their generous donation to invite Lupita and me to dinner at La Porteña, our favorite local restaurant. We plan to take them up on their generous offer as soon as we can. Your kind words and gesture are much appreciated, and they sure put a huge smile on Lupita's face.

Small 1ft waves in the bay made for lovely sleeping music Wednesday evening. We awoke to another refreshingly cool morning this jueves pozolero. So many of my friends and neighbors all comment on how lucky we are here in our beautiful sheltered little bay with our absolutely perfect weather. We know how fortunate we are! It's one of the reasons I feel like the luckiest Gringo in Mexico!

The cruise ship "The World" was lit up all night long in the bay. It was a calm and peaceful evening. Around 7:30 or so in the morning their tender brought its first group of passengers to the pier, I imagine for an excursion they had arranged for. Fishing captains commented that unlike other cruise ships, they didn't see much activity aboard. People weren't out on the gangways or leaning on the railings looking around like we usually see on a cruise ship. Thursday evening we saw new passengers arriving at the pier with their luggage and boarding a waiting tender. It's expected to weigh anchor at around 11PM.
