Not quite so cool Tuesday evening as previous nights, but it was still perfect sleeping weather. The waves have died down quite a bit, so I couldn't hear them as much. They are my favorite sound to sleep to. It was cloudy Tuesday night, but most of the clouds had disappeared by dawn, only to return again Wednesday evening when it looked like it wanted to rain. We should be so lucky!

Sales picked up a bit downtown this afternoon. Mostly visitors from north of the border. Though most of our visitors appear to be Canadian, there are still many U.S. citizens here. Lots of new arrivals this week. Their pale skin gives them away. I know how much fun it is to get a nice tan, but please take care of your skin. The tropical sun is ruthless. Go easy on the tanning, and PLEASE wear coral-friendly sun protection if you plan on swimming in the ocean.

The Danzón dancers were in Plaza del Artista this evening with a big production put on by the municipal government. Apparently they will be in Plaza del Artista now on WEDNESDAY evenings instead of Fridays because the city government has scheduled other events on Fridays. And apparently it will be every 2 weeks instead of every week, if I overheard the announcer correctly. I'll try talking to my dancer friends to see if I got that right. I've been enjoying their Friday low-key get-togethers as I know many visitors have. Not sure why the city had to get involved.
